Dr. Julian Peterson
Our Kennewick, WA Dentist Loves Saving Smiles
Julian Petersen, DDS, has been practicing general dentistry since 2009. He is dedicated to practicing many aspects of dentistry, including fixed and removable prosthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, implants, endodontics, TMJ disorder therapy, geriatrics, and pediatrics. Trained at the Eggleston Implant Institute, Dr. Petersen especially enjoys restoring patients’ smiles with implants. He has traveled throughout the state of Oregon mentoring other dentists on the proper procedure for placing implants.
Dr. Petersen is committed to quality care and truly enjoys what he does. He specializes in treating all patients as individuals, especially those who are uneasy when it comes to dental therapy. He takes great pride in providing each patient with honest, quality, and gentle care.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree in human biology from Brigham Young University, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee’s College of Dentistry in 2009. He first discovered his fascination with dentistry when living in Cambodia and having the privilege of assisting with Operation Smile. After seeing how the treatments that the doctors performed were able to literally change lives, he decided to pursue dentistry so he could have the skills necessary to improve the smiles of others.
When not practicing dentistry, he enjoys trying to make people laugh, serving in his church, volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America, coaching soccer, and spending time with his wife, Sheri, and their four children.
