We understand that going to the dentist isn’t at the top of anyone’s list. Millions of people across the country struggle with dental fear. Sometimes that’s because they had a bad experience, or maybe they struggle with the sights, sounds, and smells of the dental office.

Our Kennewick, WA dental office is using state-of-the-art technology and comfortable tools to keep patients at ease whenever patients are in the dental chair. Our first priority is to make sure you’re comfortable during dental visits. Today we want to run through a few advantages of visiting our office. Call today at [phone] to book your visit.

Calming Dentistry and Sedation Options

It’s estimated that about 20 percent of Americans struggle with dental fear. Some patients are so terrified of dental offices that they avoid the dentist at all costs. This, of course, can lead to serious dental problems. To help keep patients at ease during their dental visits, we’re using a few methods of light sedation, including inhaled sedation and oral conscious sedation.

Inhaled sedation works almost instantly and wears off quickly. If you’re nervous, we can provide inhaled sedation on the spot. This light sedation will ease your nerves, and you don’t have to worry about needing a ride home after the treatment. Oral conscious sedation, is rendered in pill-form, and you’ll take it before you visit the office. Oral conscious sedation is a heavier form of sedation. It’s great for patients who are terrified of the dentist, and even allows us to complete multiple procedures in one visit.

Convenient Laser Dentistry For Faster Results

Often we dentists need to restore areas of the mouth, including the soft tissue. Gum disease is a serious problem that is the number one cause of tooth loss in adults. About 50 percent of adults 30 and older will have gum disease, and the risk goes up to about 70 percent for adults 65 and older. Advanced gum disease can cause the gums and jawbone to erode. We’re treating gum disease and gum issues with a laser.

The laser is a modern tool that allows us to forego traditional surgery methods. Traditional surgery requires the use of scalpels to remove the gum infection and then stitches to rejoin the teeth and gums. The laser eliminates the need for scalpels and stitches, rather the laser evaporates the infection and allows the teeth and gums to naturally re-attach. Because the dental laser is located right here in our office, you won’t have to visit a specialist to handle your gum treatments.

Convenience and comfort are our two major goals at Grandridge Dental. In addition to laser dentistry and modern technology, we’re also offering restorative dentistry and cosmetic dentistry.  We’d love to see you in our office, and we hope you’ll never need another dentist. So give us a call today at [phone] to book a visit.
