Dr. Jeff Morgan didn’t take the usual route to dentistry. After graduating from Brigham Young University in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, he worked for a food distribution company as their accountant. However, he realized he missed having more interaction with people at work. After deciding to pursue dentistry, Dr. Morgan returned to school for two years to complete his prerequisites for dental school.
However, he realized he missed having more interaction with people at work.
He was lucky enough to have a supportive wife who did not mind moving around the country for his education. They packed up their two young children and headed for the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He also earned valuable experience during a dental externship at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. After four years of dental school and one more child, Dr. Morgan and his family came to the Tri-Cities so he could work with Dr. Harry Keyes at Dental West.
Two years and one more child later, Dr. Morgan opened his own practice, Grandridge Dental, in 2001. He has been here ever since, providing excellent dental care to our patients!
The same traits that led him to first pursue accounting, his methodical attention to detail and a mind that seeks efficient solutions to problems, serve him well in dentistry too. He also provides dental services for missionaries through the Smiles for Latin America program.
